10,000 Kettlebell swings in 10 days challenge!

So last week I decided to do a challenge I have done a few times before. Perform 10,000 kettlebell swings in 10 days!! The rules are simple, for ladies, a 12 or 16kg kettlebell, and guys a 20 or 24kg. The idea is to aim for 1000 swings a day, done in however many sets it takes you to do it. My wife decided she would join me in this challenge. On day one it starts with 20-30 reps a set of swings, spread out over the day. OMG my glutes and hammys started to feel it already after day one. As the days progressed I was doing 50 rep sets quite easily and towards the end, 100 reps wasn't too bad. Towards the end of the 10 days all the aches and muscle soreness just went away. It was an interesting challenge, not just because it was physical, but you start the challenge thinking 'how the fk am I going to fit this all in?' ... but you do. You find time. Less scrolling, watching netflix and doing something. Its not really about what the challenge is, it is more about developing willpower, resilience, and a positive mindset. Overcoming a challenge helps build mental strength.

Try a challenge today, it can be anything... no processed sugar for a week, no bread for a week, jog round the block each day for a month, climb Kilimanjaro... whatever it is. You have the power to do it, its inside, you just need to awaken it.
